Located in the SculptureX Building, the Wood Shop is equipped with state of the art woodworking equipment. The Shop is available for use by students, staff, and faculty in the School of Art who have completed the required safety training for design, coursework, and research projects.

PEOPLE:
Chase Young
Chase Young is the School of Art Wood & Metal Shops Technician. Young received an MFA in Art with an emphasis in Sculpture from the University of Arkansas in 2019 and a BFA in Sculpture from Arizona State University in 2016. Chase's work has been shown nationally in various exhibitions, including "Media Matters" at the Foundry Art Center in Saint Charles, Missouri, 2015; "Digital Disconnect" at Apothecary Gallery in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 2017; and the "International Sculpture Center Little Sculpture Show" in Portland, Oregon 2019.
